males averaging 731 g and females 720 g.
- The body is slender with long thin legs, and
a characteristic slim, tapering tail. The face is pointed with a rounded
forehead and small crescent-shaped ears.

and a lightly built, high, and rounded skull, which represents the most
specialized from among the Herpestinae.
